We went international last month (April 2023), with a special collaboration with FUNGI Magazine, North America's largest mycology publication. It was our privilege to host their their Editor, Illinois-based mycologist Britt Bunyard PhD, for his first ever UK speaking engagements.
In 10 days, we covered 950 miles across England and Scotland, with four talks, meeting five local mycology groups and one epic foray, forging new fungal connections along the way. Britt Bunyard’s talks inspired over 300 mycophiles, diving into life as a mycologist since, author and running the Telluride Mushroom Festival. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen. We’ll be sure to hit up Wales and NI/Eire for Britt’s return trip!
