MUSHROOM CULTIVATION WORKSHOP

This workshop will give you insight into the lifecycle of fungi, their role in nature, and show you how to grow delicious oyster mushrooms in your home. It is suitable for beginners and covers how to prepare growing medium, innoculation, how to avoid contamination, and how to create optimal conditions for growth at different stages.

The workshop will be led by Fat Fox Mushrooms, a small urban mushroom farm based in Walthamstow who are passionate about empowering people to learn more about the world of fungi and to grow their own mushrooms. Leave with the knowledge, material and equipment to carry on growing at home!

Safety and Covid

This workshop will be held indoors in a ventilated space in line with relevant Covid guidance; participants may be required to maintain social distancing, if required by guidelines at the time.
